Learning goals, skills Learning goals: Understanding of the fundamentals of social behavior, communication, and cognition in animals, specifically primates. Overview of methods used in this field of research. Application of comparative analyses. Placement of current research in a historical context. Skills: planning and conducting behavioral studies, project management, computerized behavioral data collection, statistical analyses, presentation of scientific facts in written and oral form. | Sonstiges | The field internship consists of a two-week stay in Salem at the Affenberg Salem. There we conduct observations of Barbary macaques in an outdoor monkey enclosure. The journey is self-organized, an excursion subsidy through tuition fees is granted. |
