Kommentar/Beschreibung

The course is designed and organized especially for doctoral students by Techniker Krankenkasse.


Contents of the course:

Instrumental stress management
▪ approach to coping with stressors
▪ self-management (time management, learning and study management, setting realistic goals, communication, enhancing problem-solving skills,…)

Cognitive stress management
▪ changing personal motives, attitudes, mindsets and assessments (changing stress-intensifying thoughts, identifying your "inner drivers", promoting positive self-instruction,…)

Palliative-regenerative stress management
▪ managing and coping with physical and psychological stress responses (autogenic training, progressive muscle relaxation, breathing exercises, learning to enjoy)



Structure: 5 sessions, 4 hours each (weekly)

Modules:

▪ Session 2 | Protect yourself from stress
▪ Session 3 | It"s all in the mind
▪ Session 4 | Manage stress successfully
▪ Session 5 | My doctoral journey

Diese Veranstaltung gehört zum Anmeldeset "GGNB_Skills_2021_SoSe_Juli_September".
You can register and sign out for courses in September 2021 from 1-20 July 2021. The slots will be assigned around 25 July 2021.
You can still sign out until 31 July 2021.
Your participation becomes binding on 1 August 2021. Thereafter, cancellation is only possible via the GGNB Office with a) sick certificate, or b) statement by supervisor. If you do not provide this, you will be excluded from courses for the next 12 months, as well as travel grants and other financial support.

By signing up you agree (1) to carefully check whether you will be able to attend the course (do not register for 2 courses taking place on the same dates – the above mentioned sanctions apply!), (2) to frequently check your student e-mail account, as all information on courses will exclusively be sent to that account; (3) that your name and e-mail address may be forwarded to the course instructor(s) for communication before and after the course; (4) to complete the course evaluation.

  • Folgende Personenkreise werden bei der Platzverteilung bevorzugt:

    Höhere Fachsemester werden bevorzugt behandelt.
