This digital self-study unit is designed to give you insight into NCBI's databases and analysis tools, and to allow you to independently apply what you have learned. The course can be accessed via the header Learning modules where you are redirected to the ILIAS eLearning platform. At the end of each chapter of the course, assignments will be given to use the databases and tools presented. The information collected in the assignments can be used to answer the test questions after the course is completed. The test can be can be accessed via the header Learning modules. Once all chapters have been completed, the test can be taken using the records of the assignments. Further details about the tasks and the test are explained in the course. Successful completion of the test is a prerequisite for passing the course, which is graded with 1 credit point.
