Sonstiges: This introductory lecture will give an introduction into the fascinating field of quantum charge transport at the nanoscale. We will discuss electronic effects in nanoscale systems and cover the following topics:
* Fabrication of nanostructures, van-der-Waals materials
* Semiconductor basics, field-effect transistor
* Coulomb blockade, quantum dots
* Landauer Büttiker formalism (transport in one-dimension)
* Quantum Hall effect |
