Morning Session (or 1st day online)

• Structure of Prism
• Project- (Table-)types and Workflow
• First Examples (Column and XY Project)
* Focus on graphs and workflow • Import Data

Afternoon Session (or 2nd day online)

• Basic concepts of statistic
* Population and sample
* Descriptive statistics

• Example: Descriptive statistics and Error bars (SD, SEM, CI)

• Hypothesis testing: concept, workflow interpretation
• Example and Exercise: t-Test

Day 2: Analyzing data in Prism

All topics include an example and an exercise in the Software Morning Session (or 3rd day online)
• Comparing groups (One Factor - Column Project) o ANOVA: concept, interpretation, assumptions o Post-Hoc tests (Multiple Comparisons) o Alternative (nonparametric) methods o Repeated Measures ANOVA

• Comparing groups (multiple factors – Grouped Project)
* Two-Way ANOVA: concept, interpretation, differences • Overview Column and Grouped: When to use which test?

Afternoon Session (or 4th day online)
• Curve Fitting – Regression – XY Project

* concept, linear regression
* linear -vs. nonlinear regression
* Curve fitting example: Dose-Response curve • Optional (if there is time)

* Additional analysis methods (e.g. logistic Regression)
* Different project types (e.g. Survival)
