Online-Lehrveranstaltung für Bachelor Wirtschaftsinformatik, importiert von der Technischen Universität Darmstadt. Die Veranstaltung wird im Rahmen des Winfoline-Tauschrings angeboten und steht über das Internet zur Verfügung (siehe Online-Angebot www.as.wiwi.uni-goettingen.de).

Inhalt

* Die Vorlesung behandelt die wichtigsten Tätigkeitsfelder des Information Managements aus betriebswirtschaftlicher und ökonomischer Perspektive.
* Die Übung behandelt vertiefend das Thema "Business Intelligence und Corporate Performance Management". Dabei wird die Nutzung von Data Warehouses anhand von praktischen Beispielen demonstriert.

Lernziele

* Aufgaben und Herausforderungen des Informationsmanagements verstehen.
* Verstehen, inwieweit Information und Informationstechnologien für anwendende Unternehmen ein Wettbewerbsfaktor sind.
