Miscellanea Students present and discuss the topic of their Master thesis. Here, both the advice of the instructor and the feedback from the other participants enable them to plan their academic project adequately in term of form, method and content. Special consideration is given to the challenge of demonstrating foreign language proficiency as well as presenting their subject of inquiry at the current state of research in the Master thesis.
This Master Colloquium is held conjointly for students of Arabic Studies / Islamic Studies and Persianate Studies.

Comment/Description

Students present and discuss the topics of their Master"s thesis. Advice from the instructor and feedback from participating students help Master students conceptualize their MA thesis in terms of structure, research method, and presentation of the material. Due attention is given to demonstrating foreign language proficiency. Each student will present a research progress report.
