Registration latest by 15 December 2023 For registration and questions please contact Michael Dickhardt (study@cemis.uni-goettingen.de) B.MIS.706 / B.Ind.160 - 4 SWS : Urdu I Daten: 26.02.-05.03.2024 Prüfung: 05.03.2024 Täglich 09:30-16:30 Uhr Max. 15 Teilnehmer_innen Dieser Kurs richtet sich an BA und MA Studierende, die noch keine, bzw. wenige Kenntnisse des Urdu, bzw. Kenntnisse des Hindi haben. Der Kurs führt in die gegenwärtige Schrift- und Umgangssprache des Urdu ein. Behandelt werden die Schrift des Urdu sowie grundlegende Strukturen der Morphologie und Syntax. Außerdem werden Grundkenntnisse der Umgangssprache vermittelt, um einfache Konversationen zu meistern. Es sind keine Vorkenntnisse der Sprache oder Schrift nötig. Die Zahl der Teilnehmer_innen ist beschränkt. Anmeldungen sind aus diesem Grund verbindlich. The course serves as an introduction to contemporary written and spoken Urdu. It will introduce students to the Urdu script as well as fundamental structures of morphology and syntax, and provide them with a basic knowledge of spoken Urdu for mastering simple conversations. No prior knowledge of the language or script is required. As this course is limited to 15 students, registrations are binding.
