Comment/Description

Dieses Seminar gibt eine Einführung in die chinesische Auslandshilfe und internationale Entwicklungszusammenarbeit. Zunächst wird die Entwicklung der chinesischen Entwicklungshilfepolitik von den Anfängen der Volksrepublik bis heute nachgezeichnet und aufgezeigt, inwieweit Chinas heutige Entwicklungszusammenarbeit und Chinas Identität als Entwicklungshilfegeber von historischen Kontinuitäten und historischem Gedächtnis geprägt sind. Darüber hinaus werden der institutionelle Aufbau des chinesischen Entwicklungshilfesystems in der Ära Xi Jinping, die Funktionen der verschiedenen Akteure und die aktuelle Politik der Entwicklungszusammenarbeit vorgestellt. Schließlich lernen die Studierenden die aktuellen chinesischen akademischen und Regierungsperspektiven auf die Entwicklungshilfe kennen.
