Workshop description:
Viele Promovierende sind sich unsicher, welche Tätigkeitsfelder für sie in Frage kommen, wenn Sie über einen Wechsel auf den außeruniversitären Arbeitsmarkt nachdenken oder dies beabsichtigen. Grundlegend für die Jobsuche ist die Kenntnis des eigenen Profils – Waskann ich machen? Was bringe ich mit? Wie möchte ich arbeiten? Was sind meine Werte und was motiviert mich? Die Teilnehmer*innen werden im Kurs unterstützt, durch Übungen und Selbst-Reflexion erste Antworten heraus zu arbeiten und beginnen, ihr eigenes Profil zu entwickeln und üben, dies vorzustellen. Gemeinsam in der Gruppe versuchen sie, geeignete Tätigkeitsfelder zu identifizieren und erfahren von besonderen Strategien, um auf den außeruniversitären Arbeitsmarkt Fuß zu fassen. Der Workshop regt die Teilnehmer:innen an, sich frühzeitig mit der Karriereplanung auseinanderzusetzen und eine
Einschätzung des eigenen Profils zu entwickeln.

Admission settings

The course is part of admission "GAUSS_GGNB_Skills_SoSe_2025_Jul_Sep".
You can register for courses in September 2025 from 1-20 July 2025. The slots will be assigned on 25 July 2025.
You can still sign out until 31 July 2025.
Your participation becomes binding on 1 August 2025. Thereafter, cancellation is only possible via the GGNB Office (NOT via contacting the trainer directly) with a) sick certificate, or b) statement by supervisor for science reasons. If you do not provide this, you will be excluded from courses for the next 12 months, as well as travel grants and other financial support. No exceptions.
By signing up you agree (1) to carefully check whether you will be able to attend the course (do not register for 2 courses taking place on the same dates - the above mentioned sanctions apply!), (2) to frequently check your student e-mail account, as all information on courses will exclusively be sent to that account; (3) that your name and e-mail address may be forwarded to the course instructor(s) for communication before and after the course; (4) to complete the course evaluation; (5) inform us if you no longer wish to maintain a waiting list position; (6) that you only receive credits for attending the entire workshop - you will not get partial credits for part-time attendance.
