Comment/Description

The course is aimed at introducing the theoretical background and practical applications of TMS and tDCS, tACS, tRNS to young researchers from all fields of neuroscience. Every effort will be taken to cover the broad spectrum of the areas involved in non-invasive brain stimulation, and to highlight recent developments in this field.
The course consists of a mixture of lectures and practical exercises (afternoons).


The course will take place at [Universitätsklinikum Göttingen, Robert-Koch Straße 40, Clinic for Neurology][1].

Once participation has become binding after the signing-out period, cancellation is only possible via the GGNB or GAUSS Office with a) sick certificate, or b) statement by supervisor for scientific reasons. If you do not provide this, you will be excluded from courses for the next 12 months, as well as travel grants and other financial support. No exceptions.

Admission settings

The course is part of admission "GGNB_Methods_2024_SoSe_März_Mai".
You can register and sign out for methods courses in May 2024 from 1-20 March 2024. The slots will be assigned around 25 March 2024.
In exceptional circumstances, you can still sign out until 31 March 2024.
Your participation becomes binding on 1 April 2024. Thereafter, cancellation is only possible via the GGNB Office with a) sick certificate, or b) statement by supervisor (for scientific reasons). If you do not provide this, you will be excluded from courses for the next 12 months, as well as travel grants and other financial support.
